IMO Award for OOC Crew
September 2017We are pleased to advise that the International Maritime Organization (IMO) together with the German Shipowner Association selected the Crew of OOC Jaguar for a Special Recognition Award out of various rescue missions proposed by OOC for the IMO Award for Exceptional Bravery at Sea.
Of course all other OOC rescue missions performed by OOC Panther, OOC Jaguar or OOC Tiger would be candidates too, however this award was connected to one special event dated 30th August 2016 where not only the souls of many migrants have been saved but also C/O Malcolm Bessey assisted to give birth to a new born baby under exceptional circumstances.
We thank all of our Crew for their tremendous efforts during the many rescue operations they have been involved in. This is beyond any common seafarer routine and we would like to take the opportunity to express again our greatest appreciation for their great work!
